Vital drainage projects continue to improve the course
Tree work continues to enhance the course
Hole #3 "Blind" is trimmed back
Extensive Irrigation work helps #8 fairway back to health
Tee Construction continues to provide players with fresh teeing space
Over the last 20 years direct contributions to The Course at Yale and the WS Beinecke 36’ Endowment for The Course at Yale have made the most significant impact to the restoration and preservation of our historic golf course.
Gifts to the course will allow us to continue with vital drainage projects similar to # 4 and #7 fairways and # 11 approach which for years were virtually unplayable after above average rainfall. Our tree removal program has provided much needed sunlight to tees and greens that overtime became shaded and problematic to the health of turf grasses. Development and renovation of tee space has become necessary as increased activity and years of natural wear make maintaining quality playing conditions more difficult.
As we move closer to our centennial celebration in 2026 I hope you will join us in recognizing the importance of preserving our national golf treasure by making a contribution directly to The Course at Yale.
